ALTINOK has a long-standing and extensive working experience in the field of water-related projects (including internationally funded projects under FIDIC conditions) in Turkey. Works commenced some 20 years ago with the consultancy and engineering services comprising of process, preliminary and final designs of Waste water Treatment Plants of Çeþme, Dinar and Urla.

Experienced with European funded project such as Þanlýurfa Drinking Water Project, ALTINOK's staff has gained tremendous experience in adapting itself in the developing part of Turkey, and encountering and solving day-to-day problems quite efficiently.

A summary of projects carried out within the last decade is given below:

" 2002-Pres. Þanlýurfa Drinking Water Project (MEDA EU - EuropeAid/113206/C/SV/TR/08)
European Commission contracted the construction supervision part of the project to Safege-Altýnok JV. The work is expected to finish in summer of 2005.

" 2003-Pres. Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone: preparation of tender documents and project management services
Project management services include preparation of tender documents and technical specifications, assisting the client in awarding the design and construction contract, and project management. The works involved drinking water network, storm water network, electrical network and connection roads of Cerkekezkoy Organised Industrial Zone.

" 1999-2002 Istanbul Atatürk Olympic park technical consulting services
The Olympic Committee constructed an olympic stadium of 80.000 people capacity and 14 different games facilities. The design and construction supervision of regional planning, infrastructure involving transportation, electricity, water, sewerage, and technical evaluation of the bidders were conducted. Financing was done by the Government of Turkey and Olympic Committee budget.

" 1993-1997 Engineering design of Çeþme Water Treatment Plant
The consultancy services included process, and preliminary
and final designs of waste water treatment plant in Izmir. Financing was done by Iller Bankasý (the Bank of Provinces).

" 1993-1997 Haliç Watershed design
Survey and project design services for the Haliç (South Golden Horn Basin) watershed storm and wastewater sewer system. Financed by ISKI (Istanbul Water and Sewer Directorate).

" 1992-1996 Engineering design of Urla Water Treatment Plant
Preparation of preliminary and final designs of the waste water treatment plant with sea discharge in Urla, Izmir. Financed Iller Bankasý (the Bank of Provinces).

" 1992-1996 Engineering design of Dinar Water Treatment Plant
Consulting services included process, preliminary and final designs of Dinar waste water treatment plant. Financed by Iller Bankasi (the Bank of Provinces)
